Nancy Watters, a member of Region 10, was presented with the award of merit at the AGM last Friday. This award recognizes RNs who have made an outstanding contribution to RNAO and to the profession of nursing in Ontario. Winners demonstrate responsibility for professional development and are exemplary role models and mentors to peers.

Visit to Parliament with Royal Galipeau!
A group of RNAO Region 10 nurses visited Parliament Hill this morning and received a tour from Royal Galipeau MP (Ottawa-Orleans). One of the many highlights of the tour was The Nursing Sisters' Memorial which is located in the Hall of Honour, in the centre block on Parliament Hill.
