Race to Zero: COP26

The Clean Air Partnership is hosting "Race to Zero: COP26". "The Race to Zero is a global campaign run by the COP26 Presidency and High-Level Climate Champions to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions and investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon transition that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth. Cities Race to Zero brings together all cities and municipal governments who share a vision for a better future based on a set of principles that address equity together with the environment and who strive to build a coalition across business, labor unions, youth climate activists and civil society, to transform the world. The campaign aims to recruit 1,000 cities from across the world into the Race to Zero to show municipal leadership at COP26, where national governments must strengthen their contributions to the Paris Agreement."

Green Teams

"The Canadian Coalition of Green Health Care is collaborating with the Canadian Association of Nurses for the Environment (CANE) and University of Alberta graduate student, Joanna Law, to create a national picture of Green Teams. The goal of this project is to develop an interactive map that will display Green Team location and information from across the country. Its aim is to inform and inspire those looking to start a Green Team and provide networking opportunities for existing Green Teams."

They are looking for your help in carrying out this project. If you have a Green Team and would like to be included in this project, see here, for more information.

Warmly,

Your ONEIG Executive Team
