As the new year rolls in many of us are optimistic about the changes that are happening in our community.
While change is constant, one thing that remains the same is our Chapter's goal to bring you inspiring and informative speakers year-round. With that in mind, we are ecstatic to get 2021 rolling as we will welcome Carlyn Tancioco to our January Membership meeting!
Carlyn is a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Consultant with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Carlyn has graciously volunteered her time to speak on how changing scopes of practice for RPNs will impact the practice of RNs. She has also agreed to field questions on other hot topics such as RN prescribing. We do ask that you forward any questions you may have before the meeting to rnao.ottawa@gmail.com
We will also be handing out Chapter Emeritus awards following her presentation.
While not mandatory, we do encourage people to pre-register as a means to keep track of our attendance. Our meetings have a limit of 100 attendees. We encourage current members to invite non-members as we are always looking to expand our chapter.
