Active Algoma Nurses 2020

Hello Algoma Nurses,

Ready to get moving and talk healthy living?

Interested in knowing more about what stress does to our bodies?

Register HERE for our AGM: Active Algoma Nurses 2020 next week!

Join us for FREE on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 from 7:30-8:30pm on Zoom to get the answers to the questions above and get moving!

As part of the Algoma Chapter’s AGM, we are bringing you a valuable session focused on self-care, physical activity, and overall wellness amid Covid-19 for our nursing community. Our hope is that this year’s AGM brings us together to network, learn, and remind ourselves that we matter and our health matters.

Two guest speakers will be joining for this event, including:

  • Lisa Folz, Coordinator and Professor of the Fitness and Health Promotion Program | Sault College, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario – Session on Physical Activity and Wellness, Let’s Get Moving!
  • Dr. Anthony Martin, DC, PhD, DNM, RNCP, DHS | Sudbury, Ontario – Session on Nutrition, Wellness, and Lessons Learned During Covid-19 – What Does Stress Do to Our Bodies?

Guided by our MC, you will be provided with an update on the Algoma Chapter before moving into our two engaging guest speaker sessions and a Q&A period.

Check out the Poster and Agenda attached. More details are also on our event page.

You can also invite your friends, family, students, and colleagues from other chapters! This event is also open to all interdisciplinary healthcare providers.

Registration is required to attend the event and zoom details will be provided within your registration confirmation e-mail.

We look forward to connecting with you,
