Come Clean Up on Earth Day with M-E
Hello Members of Middlesex Elgin Chapter.
The executive of our Chapter, have collaborated with the City of London Parks Department, and have adopted a park in London. This is an incentive that encourages community effort in keeping our city parks clean and green. The park we have adopted in Campbell Park in downtown London. It is a small park located on Dundas street, on the north side of the street, between Waterloo and Colbourne. Many of you may know this park as the location of London's memorial to the homeless.
Volunteer experience with M-E
Members of Middlesex-Elgin Chapter prepared and served 140 guests at St John the Evangelist Church in London this evening. Just get a few nurses together and they can sure make things happen! Tables and chairs were set out, forks and knives were wrapped in napkins, food was heated, juice was mixed, bread was sorted, meals served and dishes washed. The 14 volunteer nurses became firm friends through the evening and promised to do this again. What a wonderful experience of team work and camaraderie. Thank you to all who volunteered.
