On May 10, 2016, the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit celebrated the completion of their first year of a three year journey to be designated as an RNAO Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) at National Nursing Week celebration in Brockville. At the event, the health unit's best practice champions showed off their innovative work implementing RNAO's BPGs, and public health nurse Tanis Brown was presented with her RNAO President's Award for Leadership in Clinical Nursing Practice.
We are revitalizing our chapter. We will be hosting an event where we will have executive elections, displays from RNAO interest groups, and updates on various RNAO initiatives in our area. Videoconferencing will be available from two sites: Smiths Falls and Brockville. Join us!
In collaboration with numerous community partners, the Lanark Leeds Grenville chapter of RNAO invites you to a workshop on trauma-informed care by Dr. Lori Haskell.
