Hello Fellow Lanark-Leeds-Grenville RNAO Chapter Members.

On behalf of the executive committee, I would like to wish you a wonderful year in 2023 in your personal and professional lives. It is my absolute pleasure to serve you for this year and to learn from all of you. We are a small team this year, but we are hoping that you are interested in joining and supporting the executive and/or advocating for nursing and health in whatever way you are able.

Chapter Executive:

Susan Yates RN, PhD - President

Fallon Gluck - Social Media & Communications ENO

  • Vacant - Workplace Liaison ENO
  • Vacant - Policy & Political Action ENO
  • Vacant - Student ENO
  • Vacant – Finance ENO
  • Vacant – Membership ENO

This has been a very challenging few years for health professionals, especially nurses. It has never been as important to pull together to promote excellence in nursing practice and empower nurses to actively influence and shape decisions that affect our profession and advocate for healthy public policy.

I encourage you to lean in and revitalize our chapter and help promote a sense of professional belonging vital to our knowledge-driven profession. There are many existing and emerging issues that impact nurses and health care and with the support of RNAO we have an opportunity to make a positive difference in our local communities.  Every nurse and every voice matters!

Please submit interest for vacant Chapter executive committee roles or interest, to Leanne (lmccartney@rnao.ca) who will be able to provide you with information on roles and responsibilities.
